A pyromusical is a firework display where every shell, every mine, and every effect is electronically fired in precise synchronisation with a pre-edited music track. Sometimes called musical fireworks, fireworks to music, or fireworks set to music, they all mean the same thing. The display becomes a performance rather than just a show.
At Sonning Fireworks we coined our own word for what we do: pyrotheatre. We go further than most. We don't just play your song and fire fireworks over the top. We hand-edit the music into a narrative soundtrack, then choreograph every pyrotechnic effect to match its emotional arc. The result is a seamless fusion of light, colour, and sound that feels closer to theatre than to a traditional firework display.
